About The Role

Are you curious about how digital products are shaped, launched, and improved?

Want to build a meaningful career in FinTech where your ideas matter and your growth is supported?

We’re looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our Product team. The role is based in our Hereford office.

This is the perfect role if you’re early in your product management career or transitioning from a related field (e.g. customer service, client implementations, business analysis, project coordination) and want to learn the ropes of building great digital products that make a difference.

What you’ll be doing

You'll play a key supporting role in helping us execute our product strategy and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business value.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager (Regulated Products), as Junior Product Manager you will be driving performance of our existing products, and you will develop the company’s new and enhanced products in line with the company business strategy.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist in managing our product portfolio and support the introduction of new features and services.
  • Work closely with experienced Product Managers, Sales and Marketing teams, and Market Intelligence to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor insights.
  • Help define and prioritise product features, refine user stories, and prepare product documentation with the IT Delivery Teams. You will be working closely with the Business Analysts, Project Delivery Managers and IT Squads, delivering small changes in an incremental fashion using agile methodologies.
  • Support product launch activity, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to shape messaging and materials.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, helping to explain the ‘what’ and ‘why’ behind our products.
  • Get involved in building business cases, helping us define value and gather insight to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of agility, integrity, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

About You

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to build their product career in a fast-moving, regulated environment. You don’t need to be an expert yet – but a strong foundation, appetite to learn, and the confidence to get stuck in will go a long way.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Sound business acumen, with some experience or understanding of financial services or payments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills – you're comfortable communicating with different audiences.
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others both internally and externally.
  • A willingness to learn about regulatory frameworks such as PSD2, PSRs, and EMRs, and an appreciation of data protection and security standards.
  • Good analytical thinking – you enjoy exploring problems and using data to inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and make clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel occasionally – both locally and internationally – when the role requires it.

What you’ll gain

We believe in growing great people. In this role, you’ll have access to:

  • Mentorship from experienced Product Managers.
  • Tailored learning opportunities (e.g., product certifications, tools training).
  • A structured pathway to progress into a full Product Manager role.
  • Exposure to real product strategy and delivery – not just theory.
  • A supportive team culture.
