About The Role

We are looking for a General Manager – Revenue Growth & Expansion to lead our commercial growth in a way that is sustainable, responsible, and aligned to our purpose.

You’ll be accountable for driving revenue growth and market expansion, leading our Sales and Tenders function through a Sales Director (non‑Board). You’ll shape clear, evidence‑based growth plans and work collaboratively with our Founder, MD and wider Board, bringing proposals forward for discussion and sign‑off.

This is a Board level leadership role with real influence, balancing ambition with governance, and pace with integrity.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive revenue growth across new and existing markets.
  • Set the commercial and expansion strategy, aligned to allpay’s values.
  • Lead Sales and Tenders via high‑performing sales managers.
  • Lead pricing strategy discussions at Board level, ensuring pricing is competitive, sustainable, and aligned to value.
  • Lead bid / no‑bid discussions at Board level, bringing clear commercial, risk, and capacity insight.
  • Use market intelligence and insight to inform growth strategy, pricing, and investment decisions.
  • Working closely with the Product Team, sponsor major bids, partnerships, and strategic opportunities.
  • Bring well thought through growth plans to the Board and collaboratively agree the way forward. 


About You

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering revenue growth and expansion in fintech, payments, or regulated environments.
  • Senior leadership experience across sales, tenders, pricing, or commercial strategy.
  • A strong track record of leading complex bids and pricing decisions, including senior‑level governance.
  • Making data driven decisions using market intelligence and insight to shape strategy and challenge assumptions.
  • The ability to engage openly and constructively with the Founder, MD and wider Board. 
  • Sound commercial judgement, with a focus on long‑term, sustainable value.
  • A collaborative leadership style that builds trust, clarity, and accountability.
  • Support the continued development of our Sales and Tenders capability, strengthening commercial discipline and confidence across the team.

You’re comfortable owning the numbers, leading senior people, and turning strategy into results — without ego, but with real commercial impact.  Overall, you are motivated by building growth that stands the test of time.

Here at allpay, we follow an Office First working model, reflecting the importance we place on in-person collaboration across our teams, most of whom are based on-site. While we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, a strong on-site presence will be essential to support and guide our teams through this growth.
