Financial Controller

Within the Financial Controller role you will be leading a team of people to deliver our finance and corporate objectives.

• You will be working with the finance leadership team to support and drive the business and finance function forward.
• Responsible for the group financial control including statutory reporting and intercompany requirements.
• Responsible for engaging, coaching, and developing a high performing team.
• Oversee the treasury, liquidity, and investment management within the group.
• Responsible for leading the payroll function.
• Collaboratively align finance operations with our commercial ambitions and provide insight on current and future financial risks.  

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Be passionate and enthusiastic about the work that you do with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with proven post qualification experience.
• Have experience of continuous improvement, optimising systems and reporting.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organisation and time management skills.
• Be curious to see if we can do things a different way and improve department processes.
• Be agile enough to adapt to changes that happen within the business and re-align financial activity accordingly.
• Be curious to improve processes and drive positive behaviours to support both the team and business growth.
• Display integrity when developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
