About The Role

We're looking for a Fraud Analyst to join our Compliance team and help protect allpay, our clients and customers from fraud and financial crime risks across our bill payments and prepaid/e-money services.

You'll play a key role in monitoring activity, investigating suspicious behaviour and identifying emerging risks. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help strengthen fraud controls, support regulatory compliance and contribute to the continuous improvement of our fraud prevention framework.

You'll support the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and financial crime risks across our bill payment and prepaid services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring transactions, alerts and operational information to identify suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Supporting fraud and financial crime investigations, ensuring findings are clearly documented and escalated where appropriate.
  • Reviewing customer, client and transaction information to identify trends, risks and control improvements.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports and audit trails to support regulatory and business requirements.
  • Supporting client reviews, supplier oversight activities and fraud-related enquiries.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to strengthen fraud controls and improve risk management processes.
  • Promoting awareness of fraud risks, policies and good practice across the business.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience in fraud, financial crime, compliance or a related control environment who is analytical, organised and enjoys solving problems.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in fraud prevention, fraud monitoring, financial crime or a similar role.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and emerging fraud trends.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and financial crime requirements within a regulated environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across teams.

Desirable

  • Experience within payments, bill payments, prepaid or e-money services.
  • Knowledge of FCA requirements, Payment Services Regulations or Electronic Money Regulations.
  • Awareness of transaction monitoring, AML requirements and customer due diligence processes.
  • A relevant fraud, financial crime or compliance qualification.

Here at allpay, we follow an Office First working model, reflecting the importance we place on in-person collaboration across our teams, most of whom are based on-site. While we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, a strong on-site presence will be essential to support the existing teams and projects.

If you feel you have the experiences and drive to excel as our Fraud Analyst, we would love to hear from you!
