About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our Compliance team and help protect our customers, products and business from financial crime risks across DOSH, our consumer-facing financial product.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll investigate fraud, suspicious activity and financial crime concerns, making informed, risk-based decisions that support both regulatory compliance and good customer outcomes. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, sharing insights, building strong relationships and helping to promote a culture of financial crime awareness and prevention.

You'll also provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping to drive consistency, quality and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating transaction monitoring alerts, fraud referrals, APP fraud and potential money laundering or terrorist financing activity.
  • Assessing customer and transaction activity, documenting findings and making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Conducting CDD, EDD and ongoing monitoring activities for higher-risk customers.
  • Supporting account restrictions, customer communications and escalations where required.
  • Contributing to SAR processes in line with internal procedures.
  • Using MI and risk data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen controls.

About You

Could this be the ideal role for you?

We're looking for someone with experience in financial crime, fraud, compliance or a similar regulated financial services environment who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and making sound, risk-based decisions.

You'll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of financial crime prevention, fraud risk management and AML requirements.
  • Experience investigating fraud, suspicious activity or financial crime risks.
  • An understanding of transaction monitoring, CDD, EDD and SAR processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends.
  • Knowledge of FCA expectations for payment and e-money firms.
  • Understanding of Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) requirements and industry best practice.
  • Excellent communication and case management skills, with a focus on clear and accurate documentation.
  • The confidence to build relationships with stakeholders, challenge where appropriate and communicate complex issues effectively.
  • A collaborative approach, with a willingness to support and share knowledge with colleagues across the team.

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience working within payments, e-money or fintech environments.
  • A relevant financial crime, compliance or fraud qualification, such as ICA, ACAMS or equivalent.

Here at allpay, we follow an Office First working model, reflecting the importance we place on in-person collaboration across our teams, most of whom are based on-site. While we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, a strong on-site presence will be essential to support the existing teams and projects.

If you feel you have the experiences and drive to excel as our Senior Financial Crime Analyst, we would love to hear from you!
