We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Junior Business Development Manager to join our team. The role is based at our Hereford HQ, with occasional UK travel for client meetings and industry events.

What You will Be Doing
Supporting New Business Growth
- Research and identify potential new clients across the sectors allpay operates in.
- Use outreach methods such as emails, calls, and networking to initiate conversations and build early‑stage relationships.
Learning and Applying Solution Selling
- Build an understanding of our payment products, client challenges, and the regulatory environment we operate in.
- Support senior team members in tailoring solutions that align with client needs and compliance requirements.
Building and Managing a Pipeline
- Maintain a clear and organised pipeline of prospects using our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system software that helps us track leads, manage client interactions, and support long‑term relationships.
- Help nurture leads through the sales cycle, escalating opportunities to senior colleagues when needed.
Assisting with Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Work with the team to prepare engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
- Contribute to proposals and client documentation as your product knowledge grows.
Supporting Negotiation & Deal Progression
- Assist in preparing pricing, contract materials, and handover notes for new clients.
- Observe and contribute to negotiations led by experienced team members.
Market and Competitor Insight
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory updates to help the team refine positioning and identify new opportunities.
Collaborating Across allpay
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Client Services teams to ensure alignment and support the smooth onboarding of new clients.
Representing allpay
- Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions alongside senior team members to build your network and develop sector knowledge.
