About The Role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Insights lead to join our team.

Leading the development and execution of analytics projects to generate meaningful insights. The Data Insights lead will be working closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing data analysis techniques and tools.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • providing actionable insights and reports to support strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Managing a team of data analysts, data engineers, and other data professionals.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as department heads, executives, and product managers, to understand their data needs and align data initiatives with organizational goals. 
  • Reporting on progress against project and strategic goals, ensuring that the capacity within the team is suitable to meet demand, working with stakeholders to manage delivery expectations, and the Head of Data and other key IT stakeholders to ensure that gaps in capacity or capability are escalated and managed effectively.  

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Possess a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Have a strong understanding of data management principles, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Be proficiency in data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization, is essential. (Familiarity with tools and technologies such as SQL, business intelligence platforms, and data visualisation tools is advantageous.)
  • Have demonstrable experience leading and managing a team of technical professionals, ideally including data analysts and data engineers. 
  • Provide guidance, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Have a strategic mindset, with the ability to align data initiatives with organisational goals and contribute to the development of a data-driven culture.
