About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Product to lead, shape and drive the product vision and strategy for our payment solutions portfolio. As the Head of Product, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our product roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our customers while aligning with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's mission, vision, and market opportunities. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritising features and initiatives based on business value, customer feedback, and market research as agreed with the Financial Services Director. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a collaborative environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, Project Management and Development teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product features. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and updates.
  • Customer Focus: Advocate for the customer by gathering and analysing feedback, conducting user research, and ensuring that product solutions address customer pain points and deliver exceptional value.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Explore new opportunities for product innovation and growth.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Extensive proven experience in a similar role ideally within the fintech industry.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling fintech products, with a strong portfolio of successful product launches.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving ambitious goals.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and business objectives into actionable product strategies.
  • Have a deepunderstanding of customer needs and experience in using customer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Familiarity with fintech technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Technical background or experience working closely with Development teams is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the business.
