Situated in a beautifully refurbished train carriage, our farm shop is a unique destination for local produce enthusiasts. We pride ourselves on offering fresh, seasonal fruits, vegetable, herbs, and flowers from our own garden, alongside a curated selection of products from local producers. Our shop is more than just a place to purchase goods; it's a community hub where customers can visit our cafe, walk the vegetable gardens and relax in a tranquil environment.
We are seeking an passionate and enthusiastic retail assistant to join our Sidings team supporting the farm shop and cafe. We are looking for a customer focused individual who thrives on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As a Retail Assistant, you will:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner, answering enquiries and providing information on products and services.
- Aid customers with product recommendations, and upsell where possible.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently thought the point-of-sale system.
- Balance cash register.
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment
- Assisting with merchandising and ensuring any promotional displays are set up appropriately.
- When required serving customers in the cafe with food and beverages.
You will be working 37.5 hours at week (Wednesday - Sunday), on top of your salary you will receive a share of the weekly tips, have access to free parking and charging, free on site gym as well as many more great benefits we have to offer.
