We have a great opportunity for two Facilities Technicians to join our Facilities Team at allpay Limited. As a Facilities Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of facilities and equipment for the allpay site. This role would ideally suit someone with experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical or similar backgrounds.
This role will involve a wide range of tasks, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of the facilities.
As a Facilities Technician, you will be undertaking:
- Maintenance and repairs - diagnose and repair issues related to building infrastructure, including lights, doors, windows and furniture. Painting and decorating. Waste, water and sewage service and maintenance. Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed safety and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Operational support - respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly, prioritising tasks on urgency and importance. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring necessary items are stocked and available.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards or compliance issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, fire codes, and building codes.
- Co-ordinate with external contractors and vendors.
- Working closely with other departments to understand and support their facility related needs.
