About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our projects team.  In this critical, highly visible role, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordinating, controlling an delivery of all activities for projects.
Within this role you will be:
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams and other stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and requirements.

  • Create and manage project backlogs, ensuring that user stories are well defined, prioritised and ready for development.

  • Monitor project progress, track key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders, adjusting plans as needed to meet project goals.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, removing obstacles and ensuring the team has the resources they need to succeed.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to promote transparency, collaboration and a customer-centric approach to project delivery.

  • Manage project budgets and resource allocations, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.


About You

To be successful in this role you will need to:
  • Have proven experience of working within Agile and Waterfall environments - essential.

  • Proven effective communication, interpersonal and collaborations skills - essential.

  • Have proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity - essential.

  • Proven proficiency in project management software and tools - essential.

  • Proven passion for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends.

  • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Agile Project Manager (CAPM) qualifications are a plus.

  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably including BACS, direct debits, payment cards, prepaid and cash transactions - desirable.

  • Proven experience in the ability to facilitate and support decision making to drive plans forward to successful delivery - essential.

This role requires flexibility to provide ad-hoc out of hours additional support during major incidents where the business need demands it.
