About The Role

We are now recruiting for Site Security Manager to join our Security Team. The role is based in our Hereford Office.

Reporting to Facilities Manager, in this role you will be leading on all physical security design and implementation, securing the whole site to the highest standard and in line with PCI DSS requirements. You’ll also play a leading role in the recruitment and development of an effective security team.

You will ensure all vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated, and your priority will be to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

As Site Security Manager, some of your key duties will include:

  • To develop and retain a clear understanding of the PCI DSS requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate operational activities and agreed changes;
  • Leading and coaching a team that is acting as a first point of contact for all entering the site, ensuring processes are followed and customers, clients, colleagues and visitors are treated with the utmost respect. Recognising that security is part of the visitor experience;
  • Responsibility to lead on all incident management requirements that impact security, pulling together a coherent team for each incident. Managing any emergencies diligently and logically, completing all relevant reports and ’lessons learned’ logs;
  • Responsibility for all cameras, security management systems and back-ups. Managing suppliers, maintenance and upgrades;
  • Playing an active role in the security of all data, liaising with other teams, including Cyber Security and Compliance, and assisting with GDPR and information security initiatives.

About You

You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:

  • Diploma or equivalent level in Management;
  • Appropriate qualifications and memberships relevant to the role, preferably trained to licenced S.I.A level;
  • Proven background in managing in security environment or law enforcement setting;
  • Excellent customer care awareness and ability to deal with the public;
  • Evidence of ability to motivate individuals and team to achieve business and personal targets, and promoting team spirit, cooperation and morale.
  • Evidence of ability to manage and prioritise their workload, and to maintain confidentiality always.
