About The Role

 

We now have a great opportunity for a Production Operative to join the secure Bureau Production Team in our Hereford Head Office.

You will join a friendly, professional, and dedicated team, who work with accuracy and attention to detail, and who pride themselves on delivering the highest standards in card manufacturing and personalisation.

Reporting to the Bureau Production Team Leaders you will support the key functions of the card personalisation. You will operate various machinery, including personalisation equipment, printing machines, card matching machines and enclosing machinery.

You will also be responsible for setting up of new job profiles for customer specific production on machinery under the guidance from the Senior Production Operative.

Although your background and knowledge of working within the manufacturing environment will be an advantage, it is not essential. The card manufacturing and personalisation environment is clean and very organised, and as a Production Operative you will receive full training on how to operate the machines and on the processes used.

As Production Operative, some of your other key duties will include:

  • Recording and reporting of equipment issues to the Production Team Leader.
  • Keeping records of the volume of products processed on production equipment and create reports as required.
  • Maintaining the highest quality of goods produced in adherence to ISO, Card Quality Management (CQM- Mastercard) and Visa Branded standards.

About You

 You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
 
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • GCSE or equivalent grade D or above in three subjects including Mathematics and English.
  • Computer skills to an intermediate standard or equivalent.
  • Team skills within a small team working environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
