About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity as we are recruiting for a Business Operations Apprentice to join our Business Operations Team in our Hereford Head Office. The successful candidate will support the team helping with the daily processing of financial data and routine tasks, they will ideally have strong Microsoft Office skills with excellent attention to detail. 

The successful candidate will undertake a Customer service apprenticeship through Herefordshire and Worcestershire Group Training association.

Within this role you will:

  • Assist in the daily production of Payment Information files
  • Support the team with bacs payment processing
  • Manual processing of adjustments
  • Assist in the set up of new clients on to our systems
  • Maintain, review and update client details and internal documentation
  • Liaise with internal departments to assist with issues/queries
  • Produce extracts from internal systems and test client data in preparation for mass changes
  • Setup/scheduling/dispatch of routine reports

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Educated to GCSE grade ‘C’ or above in a minimum of 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualification(s)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (2003 or later), including Excel, Word and Outlook (strong Excel skill advantageous)
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • A methodical, consistent and organised approach to routine and one off tasks, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and implement improvements.
  • Able to create clear documentation with excellent standards of presentation
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively using both verbal and written forms
