About The Role

We are looking to fill two part time positions within our Facilities Team for Cleaners. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across various facilities.  This role requires attention to detail, efficiency and a driven work ethic.  As a Cleaner you will play a crucial part in ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and visitors.

You will join a friendly, professional and dedicated Facilities team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest standards of service.

We are very open regarding the hours and days, the combination of exact days and hours can be discussed during the interview process, however; the key is to cover cleaning outside of office core hours, Monday to Friday 6am - 9am or 5pm - 8pm, Saturdays 7am - 10am, with Sundays from 1st June 7am - 10am.  We can also offer some flexibility on exact start times (+/- 30 minutes).

In the Cleaner role you will undertake the following tasks:
 
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning walls, skirting boards, dusting in assigned areas of the site.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sink, floors, shower rooms & changing rooms.
  • Empty rubbish bins and dispose of any waste in designated areas.
  • Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  • Provide a bespoke high-level cleaning service for our Carriages Restaurant and The Sidings.

 

About You

 As the ideal candidate, you will:
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential.
  • Have proven ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Have an eye and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to plan and organise your workload within set timescales.
  • There is a requirement to undertake physical activities and perform repetitive tasks.
  • To have proven effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment is an advantage, training can be supplied.
  • Flexibility to work during early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
